Is Google Bringing Back 100 Results Per Page?
  • Google May Restore the num=100 Parameter: SEO expert Brodie Clark spotted Google's num=100 URL parameter displaying 99 organic search results, suggesting the feature may be returning after its removal in September 2025.
  • Potential Impact on SEO Tools: If restored, the feature could help SEO professionals and rank-tracking platforms collect more ranking data per search request. However, Google has not officially confirmed its return, and the behaviour remains unverified.

Google Search may be bringing back the option to display 100 search results on a single page through the num=100URL parameter. The feature was removed in September 2025 as part of Google's efforts to limit automated scraping of search results. Its possible return could be significant for SEO professionals and rank-tracking tools that depend on Google Search data.

The development was first highlighted by SEO expert Brodie Clark on X and LinkedIn. He reported noticing the num=100parameter in a Google Search URL after clicking on a Knowledge Panel result. When he checked the page, he found 99 organic search results displayed.

Clark shared his observation with the SEO community, suggesting that Google might have restored the feature in some form. However, it is not yet clear whether this is part of a wider rollout or an isolated occurrence.

The 100 Results Parameter Was Removed in 2025

Before September 2025, users could add num=100to a Google Search URL to display up to 100 results on one page instead of the usual 10. This made it easier for SEO professionals and automated tools to collect ranking data across a larger set of results.

Google removed this option in September 2025. The change affected several third-party SEO and rank-tracking platforms that relied on large search result pages to monitor keyword positions.

Since then, many tracking tools have faced difficulties collecting consistent Google ranking data.

Is Google Bringing Back the Feature?

Although Brodie Clark reported seeing the parameter again, attempts to reproduce the same result have not been successful across multiple browsers. This makes it difficult to confirm whether Google has officially restored the feature.

It is possible that Google is testing the parameter or allowing it to work under certain conditions. However, there is currently no confirmation from Google about its return.

Clark also pointed out another development involving Google's /gotolinks. According to his observations through SERP Lens data, these links appear to be bypassing some of the workarounds previously used by tracking tools.

What This Could Mean for SEO Tools

If Google brings back the 100-results option, this will help the SEO tools in gathering the rankings information. This may also assist the professionals in tracking a higher number of organic listings from one search request.

Yet, until this behavior turns out to be consistent and there is an official confirmation from Google, the SEOs cannot consider this parameter to be working properly.

In the meantime, the potential restoration of num=100can be considered just an observation.
